More than just a thermometer, a valuable tool for monitoring temperature variations
A Class IIb medical device developed and manufactured in France, Thermodiag provides external monitoring of core body temperature with an accuracy of up to +/- 0.35°C.
The Thermodiag device consists of two Armbands connected remotely to a Monitoring Tablet placed on a Docking Station. The station can be installed up to 10 metres away from the patient.
The two Armbands are used in rotation to enable uninterrupted temperature monitoring: when one Armband is positioned on the patient’s arm, the other is charging. Each Armband, equipped with 11 biomedical sensors, accurately measures the patient’s physiological parameters, which are used to infer their core body temperature. The temperature value and its variations are then displayed in real time on the Monitoring Tablet. This data is essential for the early detection of infections such as sepsis, particularly in patients with fever.
Accuracy, reliability and ease of use
The single-use cover used to position the Thermodiag Armband on the patient’s right or left arm is the result of five years of R&D.
This bandtape, a genuine technological innovation, has been designed to be as thin as possible to ensure optimal comfort for the patient, but also ultra-resistant to facilitate handling by healthcare professionals.
Once positioned in its cover, the Thermodiag Armband can be used for 24 hours, remaining in place on the axillary artery even in the event of heavy perspiration and reliably collecting data. Its prolonged contact with the skin has been validated according to ISO 10993, guaranteeing complete biocompatibility even for the most fragile skin types.

In a medical context where rapid detection of infection is vital, Thermodiag automatically alerts the healthcare team to any threshold exceedances (high or low) and displays the entire temperature history: the curve visible from the first hour illustrates continuous variations.
