F2D Medical and Luquet & Duranton at RICAI 2025: temperature monitoring as a key factor in infectious disease control

F2D Medical participated in RICAI 2025 alongside Luquet & Duranton to present Thermodiag, a continuous core body temperature monitoring system designed for severe infectious diseases.

RICAI (Interdisciplinary Meeting on Anti-Infectious Chemotherapy) is a key event for professionals involved in the management of serious infections: infectious disease specialists, intensive care specialists, microbiologists, hospital pharmacists and healthcare teams. It provides a unique forum for discussion on diagnostic, therapeutic and infection prevention strategies.

In this context, body temperature remains a key clinical parameter. It is often the first sign of an infection, a post-operative complication or sepsis. However, in practice, its measurement remains mostly sporadic, sometimes inaccurate and insufficient to detect early variations.

Alongside its distributor Luquet & Duranton, F2D Medical presented Thermodiag, a non-invasive multi-sensor armband that enables continuous and automated monitoring of core body temperature. This approach directly addresses the issues discussed at RICAI:

  • earlier detection of fever episodes,
  • better objectification of temperature variations,
  • support for clinical decision-making in departments exposed to infectious risk.

F2D Medical’s presence at RICAI 2025 is part of a clear commitment to supporting healthcare professionals with practical tools designed to improve the care of patients at risk of infection and enhance the safety of care pathways.
